Legacy Walk bricks

Bricks on the Legacy Walk

The Catamount Legacy Walk celebrates Western Carolina University and recognizes service to the university by alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends.  Funds raised by the Legacy Walk support the Student Emergency Fund. Since 2010, bricks have been placed in honor of graduating seniors, retiring faculty and staff, clubs and organizations and to honor those Catamounts who are no longer with us. Each donation is recognized by a custom brick paver placed in the Legacy Walk by the Alumni Tower. Donors receive a commemorative certificate for each paver commissioned.  Those honoring another with their donation may choose to give the certificate as recognition of their gift.

Students who receive support through the Student Emergency Fund are encouraged to repay what they can to ensure that others have access to emergency funding during times of need.
