Studying French in Montpellier: Eli Horne

International Studies student, Eli Horne, decided to study abroad through ISEP in Montpellier, France because she had been taking French classes since high school and loved the language. Being in the south of France in a smaller city meant they got to explore the city more in-depth than if they had gone to Paris.

All Roads Lead to Rome

Despite Covid-19 challenges, Samuel Josephson, a Sophomore studying International Studies and History, was able to arrange a study abroad program at the American University in Rome.   

Studying Abroad in Spain - Brice Dalke

Although Covid-19 has made it very difficult to study abroad and travel, Brice Dalke was able to achieve his dream and study abroad in Spain at Universidad P. Comillas in Fall of 2021.   

International Studies Capstone Poster Presentations

Every Fall semester, senior International Studies students take the Capstone course, INST 400. During the course of the semester, students and Dr. Niall Michelsen work to complete a major project. Students identify a global problem and work to identify solutions to solve it. They write a Policy Paper but also prepare a poster to present to the campus community.
