Engineering and Technology will guide area high school robotics competition

The program will include schools in Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Jackson, Macon, Swain and Transylvania counties, as well as the schools of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.

Catamount School students gain access to health services through collaboration with Blue Ridge Health

Students Against Sexual Assault holding ‘Consent Curriculum’ workshop

SASA was founded by WCU student Tucker McGrew in 2017 and has three main focus areas – education, activism and outreach.   


‘An Evening with David Sedaris’ coming to Bardo Arts Center

Readings of new material and a question-and-answer session will be on the agenda for the visit by the comedian, author and former WCU student.  


WCU approved for membership in University Council of Educational Administration

The UCEA works to advance the training and practice of educational leaders through research and improvements in preparation and professional development, and by influencing educational policy.  


Harris completes fundraising ride for Student Biology Club

The effort included 16 round-trip laps between WCU’s Health and Human Sciences Building and the Jackson County Airport

Annual Handmade Holiday Sale features work of WCU artisans

The 10th edition of the event will be held from noon until 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at the John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center.
